Young Israel of Northridge is a Torah Observant Jewish congregation located at the corner of Devonshire St. and Encino Ave. in the north central San Fernando Valley. Young Israel of Northridge was established in 1983. It has been in its permanent home since 1989. Young Israel of Northridge serves the growing Jewish population in the North Valley and is affiliated with the National Council of Young Israel, which has congregations in all major population centers of the United States, Canada, and Israel.

    The workshop will be for 8 weeks, and will focus on how to read and write Yiddish, along with learning simple conversational phrases and grammatical structure. The workshop meets at the shul. The community is welcome to join us.
